El fútbol está de luto. Este domingo por la noche se confirmó el fallecimiento del señor Melquiades Sánchez Orozco (1928-2018), conocido por ser la voz oficial del Estadio Azteca.

Caracterizado por su tono particular, entusiasmo y entrega en cada partido, Don Melquiades sonorizó la voz del recinto durante 52 años.

Hasta el momento se desconocen las causas de la muerte del locutor, escritor y pintor que alcanzó los 90 años de edad.

La familia ha decidido no hacer funeral y el cuerpo será cremado este lunes a primera hora.
