La diputada del PRI, Ximena Puente de la Mora, presentó este jueves ante el pleno de la Cámara de Diputados una iniciativa que busca incluir en los planes y programas de educación básica temas transversales de transparencia, acceso a la información pública, rendición de cuentas y protección de datos personales.
La legisladora señaló la importancia de fortalecer de forma integral la educación de México, ya que es la única vía que contribuye a revitalizar los valores cívicos de las personas
“La transparencia ha probado ser cada vez más un factor determinante para inducir cambios positivos en la manera en que se asume y desempeña el servicio público; pero es necesario reconocer que a la par de estos avances, nuestro país enfrenta el descontento generalizado de la sociedad a causa de la corrupción”, dijo.
De acuerdo con un estudio sobre la corrupción en los mexicanos, impulsado por el Instituto de Investigaciones Jurídicas de la UNAM, refiere que 92 por ciento de los mexicanos consideran que en México hay corrupción y que es en el sector público donde más se presenta.
«El país necesita capitalizar las reformas, nuevas medidas y decisiones con acciones concretas dirigidas a disminuir las conductas irregulares tanto en el gobierno como en el sector privado, ya que este tipo de comportamientos tienen un efecto negativo en la economía y en la sociedad”, señaló.
Del mismo modo, la OCDE ofrece diversas recomendaciones para incorporar las políticas de integridad en todo el gobierno, fortalecer los mecanismos de cumplimiento y rendición de cuentas, y proteger a los denunciantes. Entre las recomendaciones clave del informe está: Incorporar políticas anticorrupción a otras estrategias nacionales clave, tales como el gobierno abierto, la educación y la seguridad.
En este sentido, Puente de la Mora refirió que los temas de transparencia, acceso a la información pública, rendición de cuentas y protección de datos personales son fundamentales para el correcto desarrollo de una sociedad, por ello deben formar parte de la parte de la agenda educativa en el país.
“Fortalezcamos de manera integral la educación de nuestro país, ya que es la única vía que contribuye a revitalizar los valores cívicos de las personas, como una necesidad para lograr las aspiraciones de un mundo mejor, más humano, en donde se imponga la cultura de la transparencia y la honestidad”, concluyó.
